Olympic Peninsula Healing

When I cannot find peace in quiet in society, especially amid the current turmoil, I head out into the wilderness landscape. This is what I did on this day in early June. There were few people and I walked through a forest dotted with rhododendrons, ferns and moss. I reached this point just before sunset as just enough light pierced the otherwise overcast day to reveal the first flank of peaks of the Olympics rising above the hood canal. Here I can find in the wild and in my images: peace, harmony and healing.
