Barclay Lake: Deep Woods Sunset
This image is from one of several small hikes I took in June in the Mt. Index area. It is a beautiful and mesmerizing experience to watch the sun emerge from an almost all-day cloud cover right before sunset as the sun cast some light on the clouds and North Facing tall and magnificent Baring Peak rising up precipitously from the deep woods Barclay lake, nestled in a rain forest that receives close to 200 inches of rain a year.
