Eagle Cap Range Pano

Our journey through the Eagle Cap Wilderness included going up and over a couple of high mountain passes over 8,000 feet in elevation. Here is the first unnamed pass above Cache Lake. How a pass as beautiful as this not have a name is beyond me. The appearance of the Eagle Cap Range to me looks a lot like the Sierras, only this area receives far less use. During most of our trip we only saw a few other backpackers along the trail--this is the place one wants to go to find solitude in the wilderness!
