Heather Juan De Fuca Sunset

I get great enjoyment hiking these ridges in Olympic National Park that look out to the Straight of Juan De Fuca and the Pacific Ocean. It reminds me a bit of hiking in Hawaii where the trails through the mountains often peer out to the Ocean creating the opportunity for incredible sunsets. In these kind of conditions the sunsets seem to look different, perhaps due to light reflecting off the ocean water and offshore flow. Even the name of one of the ridges here, klahhane Ridge, sounds Hawaiian to me!
