The Chinese word Tao means “the way”. One might ask what kind of way? First and foremost, it is the way of nature including our own nature. It is also the way of harmony with others and the way of self understanding. Taoism is the study of the way. The Tao of Landscape Photography is about the recovery and the illumination of the path to creativity. I say recovery because the way of the Tao (getting back in touch with our true nature) is also a recognition that the path was always there.
